Student Parliament Elections 2020

Each year we hold elections for our Student Parliament, this election includes six voluntary Executive Officer Positions and eight voluntary Faculty Rep Positions. These members once elected, will work alongside the Presidential Team to take the lead on influencing the student experience.

The polls open at 09:00 on Tuesday 27 October 2020 (in 5 days and 13 hours)

Charities & Fundraising Officer

Your main duties include attending the Societies, Sports and Events Project Team, working alongside students to raise money for charitable causes, identifying local, national and international charities/campaigns that CitySA could get involved in and promoting voluntary and charitable opportunities to students

Education Officer

Your main duties are to attend the Student Parliament and Representation Project Team, work to promote the role of Class Representatives across the College and support and lead on campaigns around the student learning experience.

Equalities Officer

Your main duties include are to attend the Diversity and Wellbeing Project Team, celebrate and promote the diversity of the college by helping to organise cultural events and liberation months and work to support liberation and peer-support groups upon demand, such as LGBTQ+, BME, Women’s, Disabled and Mature Student groups.

Your main duties are to attend the Diversity and Wellbeing Project Team, promote local, national and international wellbeing campaigns students can engage with, promote benefits of healthy living to students through initiatives to improve their diet and exercise. and work to promote positive mental health to students and increase awareness.
