Vice President Social & Activities

Hi, I'm Rachael , your Vice President of Social and Activities...

It is my job to assist students in setting up Clubs, Societies and help with the organisation of activities for the students. My role also involves supporting the Student President within the Students' Association. We have an amazing record number of societies and sports clubs at both City and Riverside this year. I hope to help the students enjoy their college experience as much as possible.

I'm in my 2nd year of my HND in Legal Services course. I hope to further my education at University next year in the hope of becoming a Solicitor. I'm a mature student and also single mum. Along with my role, my studies and being a mum I work part time in a hotel. I understand that every student experience will be different quite like my own.

I have a huge passion for music, my taste varies greatly but my real love lies with Techno. I love to travel and hope to be able to do this a lot with my daughter to show her the many different cultures the world has to offer. I have great love for cheese, it is definitely greater than the average person.

I got involved with the Students Association by setting up the debating society last year so I value the importance of getting involved in what your college has to offer and the benefits it has to not only your studies but to other aspects in life.

My role allows me to engage with students to find out what they want and need and provide a platform of support to help make this happen.

Please come and find me or drop me an email if there is anything I can do to help make your college life the best it can be!
