Hi, I'm Sandra , your Vice President of Social and Activities...

My role is to work with students and staff to offer a diverse range of clubs, societies, sports, and events to meet students’ interests. I will also aim to set up one of our biggest events of the year – Freshers! My role also involves supporting the Student President within the Student’ Association. As English is my second language, I am keen to support students with similar circumstances.

I campaigned for this role as I am passionate about leading different sports events because I did this as a Sports Leader during my high school. I also want to engage with students and help them get the best college experience while they are studying at City! This role is a great opportunity to boost my confidence and explore new skills & qualities.

This year, I completed the NQ Applied Arts course and I am now studying Jewellery Design. My goal is to be an Art Teacher and specialise in different areas of art such as jewellery, textiles or ceramics.

When not on campus, I enjoy listening to music and socialising with my friends. I am also a massive cat lover! In my spare time I also enjoy drawing portraits of other people, shopping, and photography. I love binge watching Netflix series and my top 3 favourites are Riverdale, The Rain and Stranger Things. My favourite sport is Netball and I am also part of the team at City!

I am a very approachable person so if you ever need any help whilst you are studying, drop me an email. I think being part of the Students’ Association is a great privilege and opportunity and I would love to share that with as many people as possible.
