That is why the Students' Association Environmental & Sustainability Project Team regularly organise litter picking activities (Campus Clean Ups) for both staff and students to get involved with, doing our bit to look after our local environments. 

Join us for our next round of Campus Clean Up events in April: 

• Riverside Campus. Thursday 21st April 9:15 am -10:30 am 
• City Campus. Thursday 28th April 9:15 am -10:30 am 

Both dates are open to all students regardless of what campus you normally study at. All participants will meet at the Students' Association space (level 2 at City and level 0 at Riverside) before heading outside together. Please ensure that you are wearing appropriate footwear and bring a jacket in case of wet weather.

All litter picking equipment will be provided. A free hot drink will be provided to all volunteers afterwards - so it’s a great opportunity to spend some casual time with other students and staff who share your interest in looking after the environment. 

Remember that students can log their volunteering hours on our Volunteering HUB, to work towards our Students' Association Bronze, Silver, and Gold Volunteering Awards!
