Be a Katalyst for change

Currently, I am studying Year 1 HND Professional Cookery, since joining the college I have been able to grow from the new experiences and I would like to ensure this is the same for all students at the college. The role of Learning and Teaching would allow me to work with students from all backgrounds in helping them voice their concerns and engage more with the Student’s Association. I would also like to help students be more involved at the college and find ways to make sure students, regardless of age feel welcome throughout their studies here. If students have concerns or issues about their courses or the college, I want to make sure that these are well understood by all student and staff so that together we can resolve them. Starting college is a big step for students and helping them transition from wherever they came from would make for a better experience here. I want to make sure all students are aware of the endless opportunities they have here, along with the growth and potential each and everyone one of us has for our futures.
