The change starts with us

The United Nations Climate change conference, COP26, takes place this year between November 1st-12th in Glasgow and offers a unique opportunity for City of Glasgow College to shine on an international stage.

The College has created a COP26 task force to support activities both in the run up to COP26 and at the conference itself.

Your Students’ Assocation are asking all students and staff to join us in our Preparing for COP26 challenge to make a concerted effort and commitment to adopt new behaviours that can help us all become more sustainable.

Climate change is the defining crisis of our time, and it is happening even more quickly than the experts initially suggested, but we are far from powerless in the face of this global threat. The climate emergency is a race we are losing, but it is a race we can Combate and win.

Each week on the lead up to COP26, we will release a weekly challenge. That will encourage students and staff to take manageable steps to mitigate their own environmental impact.
