My name is Stasha, I am currently in my second year of Admin & IT here at City of Glasgow College. I have loved having the opportunity to be a faculty rep this year for Education & Humanities and would love to keep being involved at the college. I strongly feel the work of a student president should be determined by what students want to see change, I have explained three areas I am passionate about below:

College Community

The past couple of years have made it difficult to maintain a positive and exciting community. I'd like to revive this and create a community within the college where everybody feels comfortable and a place you would like to spend time.

Commitment to better classes

I think it's really important that your classes are consistent, and you know what do expect before starting a new timetable at college. I want to work to address the differences in students experiences to make sure every student feels at ease and enjoys their course.

Listening to you

My key focus throughout this role would be to make sure that you feel like I am someone you could come and talk to and trust with any concerns and ideas. I would strive to make sure that you were listened to and felt anything discussed would be taken seriously and not forgotten about.
