I believe that if I were elected student president, not only would I be able to give additional support and amplify the student voice, but also help the new Vice Presidents fit into their roles within the Students Association.

Having been Vice President for Learning and Teaching in this previous academic year, and before that a union representative, I believe this has given me the skills and knowledge to further support and represent students.

Over the past year I have engaged with students throughout the campus in a variety of initiatives, the big ones being Fresher’s and more recently, The Staff Awards. This has given me insight into the workings of the college and will allow me to dive right into new projects and initiatives to further enhance the student experience.
