Candidate for the position of Creative Industries Faculty Rep

Jack Gebbie

Joined for the knowledge, Stayed for the People

In the past 3 years I have been Class Rep each year with the most recent year as a Faculty Rep and this year I am also training class reps. I am also the Head Conveynor for the E-Sports and Gaming Society. This makes the role perfect since I have already done the job, so I know what to expect and not get cold feet halfway through. Not only that but when voted in as Faculty rep I was voted in unanimously.

A little about me, I do not make any judgements about people based on what they believe or what they look like. I base my opinion of them on my interaction with them. I only ask in return you respect what I believe as well.

I am great at keeping my emotions out of the way when deliberating on problems brought to me whilst also making sure that those with a problem are heard and certain that I can help fix their problem.

I really enjoyed the role last year and I know in the role I can make a difference as I see it as a way of making positive improvements to the college experience for all of the students, regardless of their demographic.
