Candidate for the position of Student Events Officer

Jay Allan

Hello, my name is Jay, and I am a student at the college currently studying HNC Business with Enterprise running for the student Parliament.

See below what I aim to bring to the table as your new Vice President Social & Activities:

Create a great student social environment

My main aim is to create a great social environment inside the college for every individual to prosper and feel over the past few years many people have been deprived of the social life they deserve because of Covid-19 and will do everything in my power to ensure that we do our best to make up for lost time.

Provide worthwhile social events and opportunities

College can be a fantastic opportunity to make new friends that could last a lifetime and I aim to make this as stress-free as possible by making societies as accessible as possible to everyone while bringing something to college that will hopefully accommodate every individual, regardless of interests.

Develop a calendar of events and activities

I hope to work closely with the student association and staff around the college to develop a calendar of exciting new events and activities consistently throughout the year while injecting fresh ideas, bringing new life to the college and making the social side of student life as enjoyable as possible for everyone.
