Hi! My name is Polly Vaker and I want to be your next Vice President of Social and Activities. 

As a Ukrainian who moved to Scotland and started life from scratch, I know how difficult it is to make new friends, but college opened this opportunity, and that is one of the reasons why I think social activities at college are important. 

Being a part of social life is also a great way to support mental health while studying at college, and I want to be sure that every student can spend time in COGC societies, clubs, or events. 

My friends can say that I'm a positive, kind, creative, and outgoing person, and that’s why I think this role will be perfect for me. 

Also, as a former student at a Ukrainian university, I have seen how student social life is built there, and I can use my knowledge at our college. 

By being Vice President, I want to attract as many students as possible to attend social activities and make good memories for everyone about their college years.
