My name is Sandra Szymanska and I am a Student Rep who studies NQ Applied Arts. I have been picked for this role as I have excellent communication, organisation & problem solving skills. I have experience when it comes to being a leader, I played a big role of leadership at school as I was a secretary, prefect and sports leader. I believe I am suitable for the role of Vice President because I understand the role of students and I understand the expectations of my fellow students. If I was the Vice President I believe I can make social events but also create team knowing exercises to get to know each other better. I enjoy helping students who like to be social and creative and this role would create an opportunity for me to lead activities for students with those requirements. I am also very keen to help with students who's English is a second language. As I am Polish I understand the long journey of getting used to being in a new environment and learning a language which never has been experienced to learn. I am able to help students with backgrounds. As I am trustworthy and honest I am able to help students with their struggles. As a class rep I am already trying to do as much as I can to help my fellow students whether it is about college work or stuff they struggle with.
