"Blind to Barriers, Open to Possibilities: A Vibrant Wellbeing for Everyone."

I am thrilled to present my candidacy for the position of Vice President of Diversity and Wellbeing. As a student pursuing a Complementary Therapies HND, I bring a unique perspective shaped by my personal journey of overcoming challenges as a blind individual since 2017. I am not just a candidate; I am an advocate, enthusiast, and a testament to the power of inclusivity!

My vision is rooted in the belief that diversity and wellbeing are inseparable pillars of a thriving college community. Drawing from my firsthand experiences, I understand the importance of breaking down barriers and creating an environment where everyone feels valued and included.

I propose a comprehensive approach addressing both physical and cultural accessibility. From ensuring facilities are designed with inclusivity in mind to fostering a culture that celebrates our differences, my goal is to transform our college into a haven of wellbeing for all. I have engaged in activities such as pole dancing, showcasing that with determination and support, individuals with impairments can actively participate in a wide range of activities, challenging preconceived notions.

Together;

let's amplify the voices of underrepresented groups; embrace diversity as our greatest strength; and work towards a college experience that promotes not only academic success but holistic wellbeing.

I am dedicated to cultivating an environment where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued.

Vote for a future where diversity is celebrated, barriers are dismantled, and wellbeing is inclusive.

Join me in creating a college experience that leaves no one behind.
