Uniting for Positive Change!

Hello guys my name is Cintia Sanches and I’m running for Vice President of Wellbeing and Diversity.

My values and personality alongside with the right training and support, make me a great choice for this position.

About myself, I’m a Luso- African woman, living in Scotland for the past three year.

Personally, I consider myself as a loving and caring human being, I always want to make everyone be seen and heard, especially for us that are consider as minority.

I’m always positive and try to see the good part in every situation, keeping a positive attitude no matter the outcome.

My goals as the next Vice President Diversity & Wellbeing are:

  • Work with students and staff to promote positive, healthy and happy lifestyle.
  • Highlight the importance of taking care of our physical and mental health.
  • Develop campaigns supporting the rights of women, ethnic minorities, LGBTQ+ people and disabled people, including liberation months and societies.
  • Engagement work with all minority group on our campus, in order to provide the best college experience possible.
  • Make myself present and active in all projects and activities of the Student Association.

In summary I would appreciate to be part of this amazing project and be able to provide a unique and positive college experience for all of you.

I feel like it would be a wonderful and fulfilling experience, to be able to help others and promote inclusivity.
