"Unity in Diversity, Wellness for All"

Hey City of Glasgow College students,

I'm Abed, and I'm running to be your Vice President Diversity & Wellbeing. With my deep experience in diverse communities and as a volunteer ambassador, I'm committed to celebrating our differences and enhancing wellbeing for all.

With my extensive experience engaging with diverse communities and serving as a volunteer ambassador, I bring a deep understanding of the student experience and a passion for promoting inclusivity and mental wellbeing.

If elected, I aim to:

  • Celebrating Diversity: I'll organize cultural events, awareness campaigns, and inclusive policies that embrace our diversity and foster a sense of belonging for all students.
  • Improving Wellbeing: Mental health matters. I'll work to expand mental health resources on campus, ensuring accessibility and support for every student in need.
  • Advancing Equity and Access: Everyone deserves an equal opportunity to succeed. I'll advocate for policies and initiatives that break down barriers and create a level playing field for all.

My experience in bridging communities and understanding diverse perspectives uniquely qualifies me to serve as your Vice President Diversity & Wellbeing. Together, let's build a college where every student feels valued, supported, and empowered to thrive.

Vote for me, Abed, for a more inclusive and wellbeing-focused college experience!
