Hi everyone, I am Valeria and I am running for VP for Teaching and Learning. 

  • I am experienced in student representative roles (Incl. Education and Humanities Faculty Rep and Class Rep)
  • Dedicated to a proactive approach to improve your learning and teaching experience within the college
  • I am proud for the opportunity to represent you and your values

What do I stand for? 

  • Freedom of expression, beliefs and religion

  • Kindness and Love 

What do I seek to achieve if elected? 

  • I will improve the community spirit amongst students
  • I will create support groups for minorities and under-represented backgrounds (incl. student carers, student parents, students with learning support needs)
  • I will raise more awareness for mental health on campus (incl. workshops, events)
  • I will work with the library department to provide services that students require
  • I will provide support for ESOL students and new-to-Glasgow students, among others
  • I will create clubs where students can learn new languages from one another
