Hello!

I am Daniel, I’m currently a student at the city campus studying my HND in Advertising and Public Relations, this is my last year at the college.

I’m also your current Equalities Officer at City SA.

I am delighted to be standing to become your next Student President at City SA.

I have been a fellow student for the past two years and to be honest, I feel that there is still a lot of work that needs to be done for students.

I want to implement change to the college especially within the student’s association, I promise to work hard, give you the power and voice to be heard more than ever before to help enhance your college experience at City of Glasgow more positive and fun for everyone.

As President, my aim is to focus on tackling student poverty as this is still a major barrier that people are facing daily, I pledge to introduce brand new and exciting campaigns.

I also look to improve the class rep system; I would like to see some more fun initiative tasks be implemented.

I plan to introduce free fruit Fridays to promote healthy eating across the college, as well as allowing students to not go hungry during the day as you would be able to pick up a piece of free fruit every Friday which you could have with your lunch and breakfast to start your college day.
