By the Students, For the Students
My name is Dylan Simpson, I am 19 years old and I am currently studying HNC Radio but also have experience developing computer games, music and networking. I believe myself to be suitable for the role as I am interested in all the different sport and society subcultures and how they bring a balance between study time and free time. I would very much like to be someone who would actively encourage students to join societies they are perhaps interested in. I was also, and still am, very keen to start up a society of my own one day to give me experience in running and maintaining one. I would also like to use my course as a way to bring more attention to all the different sports and societies students can join and potentially start up if they so wish. In terms of events, I think they are important to students as a means of encouragement for what they enjoy but also as a means to help bring us all together and that’s why I believe all of this is important for the college, staff and students alike. For this role, I want to achieve a strong and stable bridge between the student’s life inside and outside of college. I will also takes student feedback from societies as a way to improve both their time within societies as well as their studies. I believe I am “By the Students, For the Students.”
