AGM 2026 Results Are In!

In May, students were invited to submit ideas and vote on proposals as part of AGM 2026. Following the submission process, two proposals progressed to a public student vote:

• Proposal 1: Should the Students' Association advocate for more paid internships and networking support for students?
• Proposal 2: Should the Students' Association campaign for more consistent support for students with additional support needs?

Voting officially closed with a total of 423 votes cast from 214 individual students. Both proposals successfully reached quoracy, meaning they received enough votes to be formally recognised by the Students' Association, and both received final approval from Student Parliament. 

The final results for each proposal are as follows:

1.) Should the Students' Association advocate for more paid internships and networking support for students? - Approved with 203 (96.21%) of 211 students voting yes. 

2.) Should the Students' Association campaign for more consistent support for students with additional support needs? - Approved with 196 (92.45%) of 212 students voting yes.
