On Thursday 28th of April I attended the Student's Association second campus clean up on City campus.
The clean-up was attended by 12 volunteers, including some of the college's Student Engagement Officers, a student from the City Works class and our Volunteering Officer and Volunteering Development Officer. We also had support from a local member of the community who works with Townhead Community Centre.
Our team of volunteers showed excellent teamwork and enjoyed the lovely sunny weather. By the end of the clean up five bags of litter were collected. Everyone's hard work didn’t go unnoticed as we received lovely comments from members of the public stating what a fantastic job we were doing. Well done again to the team!
Keep a look out for future campus clean up events throughout the year.
