To support students who are interested in running for Election but haven’t done so before and aren’t sure how to approach it, we have set up some Q&A sessions. These info sessions will take place over Zoom.

When you nominate yourself, you need to write a manifesto to let other students know why they should vote for you in the elections.

All candidates MUST attend the election briefing to ensure that they understand the elections process and the rules associated with running. This will be taking place on the 8th of March at 12pm through Zoom.
Booking links will be sent out to all with candidates and Election Rules can be downloaded in advance.
We have organised external training for our candidates on how to run a successful online election campaign. This will be taking place on the 8th of March at 4pm through Zoom.
Booking links will be sent out to all confirmed candidates with materials uploaded after the training.
Running in an election is an extremely rewarding experience but it can also be tiring, particularly whilst doing so remotely. To support candidates the SA will be hosting Candidate Catch Ups through zoom, setting up a Mentoring system and organising meditation sessions.
All information on how to access this support will be sent out to confirmed candidates.
