About The Role

  • Working one-to-one with a young person who requires support with their learning, either online or face-to-face.
  • Relationship building and mentoring.
  • Monitoring and recording progress of learning and keeping in contact with your assigned VTO Learning Communities Coordinator.
  • Supporting learning in English and/or Maths and potentially other subjects, dependent on experience and pupil need.
  • Sourcing and creating engaging ways to support pupils’ skills and learning.
  • You can ask to work with more than one pupil if you have the time available.

We ask for a minimum commitment of 6 months from being matched with a young person and ideally until the end of the academic year.
