The Vice President of Learning & Teaching Role

Represent your peers and make student life better through the leadership role of Vice President of Learning and Teaching. As a key member of the Presidential Team, you will shape the academic experience for thousands of students.

Salary £27,682 (pro-rata) | £15.21 per hour
Time Commitment 14 hours per week
What You'll Do

Working alongside the Student President, you will:

  • Champion Student Voices: Represent students at key college meetings, working groups, and National Union of Students (NUS) initiatives.
  • Empower Representation: Ensure effective systems are in place for student representation, including Class and Faculty Ambassadors, and external audits.
  • Gather and Communicate Feedback: Ensure student opinions are used to enhance the college experience and action change with college partners.
  • Drive Engagement: Support Students’ Association events, activities, and campaigns that enrich student life.
What You’ll Focus On
  • Actively engage with students from diverse backgrounds to advocate for their needs.
  • Collaborate with college staff and partners on shared projects and campaigns.
  • Support the planning and delivery of events, societies, and extracurricular opportunities.
  • Contribute to reports on the Students’ Association’s progress and achievements.
