Do the honourable thing and vote for Honor
Hey guys! I’m Honor, I’m 19 years old and I’m currently studying HNC in Legal Services. After I complete my HND, I aim to study law at university. Outside of college I love going to the gym, playing the piano and spending lots of time with my friends and family.
I’ve decided to stand for this role because I am a naturally compassionate person. I genuinely care about the wellbeing of others and want to help anyone at the college who feels isolated or in need of help. Being a class rep, I have experience representing the views of my classmates so I will have no issue voicing the opinions of the students and fighting for what we as a collective want.
I cannot promise you the world. I’m not going to list endless unrealistic promises to you in the hopes that you vote for me. But what I can promise is that I will raise awareness of clubs and societies which you can join to help combat negative feelings you may be experiencing. As well as this, I will also ensure that you don’t feel alone during your time here. We hold 27,000 pupils at this college. There is no reason for anyone to feel like they have no one or nowhere to go to within the college, and I want to bring the pupils together and continue Glasgow’s friendly reputation. People make Glasgow and WE make City of Glasgow College.
