Dear fellow students at City of Glasgow College.
My name is David Clist. Some of you may know me from previous years when we were at the same high school. Others may recognise me from the disastrous faculty representative campaign I ran this year.
For the past couple of years, I’ve been working with some youth clubs and have become a vital part in leading the games and activities. If my time at college has taught me anything, it’s that every now and then we could all use a game of football. I love organising these outings and that’s why I feel I’d be a great choice for Vice President of Social and Activities.
There should be times for art, film and many, many more. Especially for different levels of skill. I enjoy drawing, but I’d hate to go to a group full of Leonardo Da Vincis!
Our college, our rules, your societies.
Together I feel we could really make your experience at college so much better. There are always ways that we can improve upon your time. We can turn this college into something that you could expand upon.
I greatly treasure communication with people and I’m always up for a chat with anyone about anything. Communication is vital in positions of power.
Well I guess that’s all I can say for now. I hope this has put me in a positive light. Possibly we can actually sit down and discuss what we want. It’s only our future.
