The Vice President of Diversity and Wellbeing Role

Work on intersectional liberation campaigns and events that enhance the student experience. You will be at the forefront of ensuring every student feels safe, included, and supported during their time at City of Glasgow College.

Salary £27,682 (pro-rata) | £15.21 per hour
Time Commitment 14 hours per week
What You'll Do
  • Champion Student Voices: Represent student views at college meetings, workstreams, and National Union of Students (NUS) initiatives.
  • Strengthen Representation: Support effective systems for student engagement, ensuring all students have a platform to share their opinions.
  • Enhance Wellbeing & Inclusion: Work with fellow students and college partners to develop liberation initiatives, events, and activities.
  • Boost Student Life: Help organise events and campaigns that are accessible, diverse, and student-led.
  • Effective Communication: Use social media and internal platforms to keep students informed and engaged.
What You’ll Focus On
  • Collaborate with college partners and students on exciting projects and campaigns, including attending working groups.
  • Respond to Student Feedback regarding issues and ideas that are important to them.
  • Contribute to reports on Students’ Association activity and achievements.
