The Vice President of Social & Activities Role

Promoting student representation through clubs, societies, activities and events. As a student leader, you will be the driving force behind a vibrant, connected, and active campus community.

Salary £27,682 (pro-rata) | £15.21 per hour

Time Commitment 14 hours per week

What You'll Do

Champion Student Voices: Represent student views at college meetings, workstreams, and through National Union of Students (NUS) initiatives.
Enhance Representation: Support effective structures for student representation, ensuring every voice is heard.
Foster Community: Help deliver a vibrant array of clubs, societies, and activities that are accessible and inclusive.
Boost Communication: Use social media and internal platforms to promote Students’ Association activities and keep students informed.

What You’ll Focus On

Collaborate with college partners and students on exciting projects and campaigns, including attending working groups.
Deliver key Students’ Association events, such as Freshers.
Respond to student feedback regarding what activities they would like to engage with.
Provide leadership and support to student volunteers.
Contribute to reports on the Students’ Association’s progress and achievements.
