Students can nominate by logging into our website. Once they’ve signed into the website using their student login details they can nominate in any of the 4 categories open.
- Outstanding Course of the Year
- Staff and Student collaboration
- Teacher of the Year
- Support staff of the Year
All students can nominate. This includes students at all levels of study, full-time and part-time students. So long as they have a student number they’re eligible to vote!
Yes! Students may nominate as many times as they would like, in multiple categories or in the same category. We can only judge the nominations based on the content of what they write, so they should be as detailed as possible and include an example.
Every staff member nominated will receive an email congratulating them on their nomination. This happens every time a staff member is nominated. When a short list is decided, those on it will be invited to an award ceremony at the end of the academic year.
Nominations will be open from the middle of January and close in mid-February, giving students a month long window to nominate staff for awards. Select reopening for groups of students may occur later in the year.
The Teaching Awards are entirely student-led, so the judging panel is made up entirely of students!
