You can help support our ‘I Bike’ team to deliver outdoor activities for children and young people at schools in Bishopbriggs (5 minutes by Subway from Queen Street), Lenzie (9 minutes from Queen Street by train), Milngavie (23 mins from Queen Street by train) and Kirkintilloch (24 minutes from Cathedral street by bus).

This volunteering role would suit people who enjoy being active, and have an enthusiastic mindset about young people and outdoor education.

The activities you can help with could include; teaching children and young people how to cycle or scoot, school playground cycle/scooter skills activities, leading cycle rides or walks, showing people how to look after and repair a cycle, or helping with the maintenance of our bikes that we lend out (training provided).I Bike volunteering is very flexible - you will be provided with an online calendar which shows the upcoming dates for planned activities, so you can decide which ones you'd like to attend.  Activities take place within school hours (between 9am and 3pm) during school term times. There are no activities during school holidays (July-mid August).
